Effective August 19, 2026
These terms govern your use of bronzestarhomeinspections.com and describe the general terms on which
Bronze Star Home Inspections PLLC provides inspection services. The written inspection agreement you sign
before an inspection governs that inspection; where these terms and that agreement conflict, the signed
agreement controls.
About Our Services
Bronze Star provides residential and commercial property inspections in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex
and Middle Tennessee. We are licensed in Texas (TREC #22071) and Tennessee (TCDI #2726).
Scope and Limitations of an Inspection
A home inspection is a visual, non-invasive examination of the readily accessible systems and
components of a property on the day of the inspection. Inspections in Texas are performed to the
TREC Standards of Practice,
and inspections in Tennessee to the Tennessee Standards of Practice.
An inspection is not:
- A warranty, guarantee or insurance policy of any kind
- A prediction of future performance or remaining life of any component
- An appraisal or determination of market value
- A code-compliance inspection
- An examination of concealed, inaccessible or unsafe-to-access areas
- An environmental, mold, pest, radon or air-quality assessment unless separately contracted
We do not move furniture, stored items, or personal property, and we do not dismantle equipment. Conditions
can change after the inspection date.
Scheduling, Access and Cancellation
Requests submitted through this website are inspection requests, not confirmed appointments. An
inspection is scheduled only once we confirm it with you directly. You are responsible for arranging access
to the property, including utilities being on and areas such as attics, crawl spaces, electrical panels and
garages being accessible. If access or utilities prevent inspection of a component, that limitation will be
noted in the report. Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Payment
Fees are quoted before the inspection and are due as agreed at the time of booking. Online payment is accepted.
Discounts are available for active-duty military, veterans and first responders.
Your Report
The inspection report is prepared for the exclusive use of the client who commissioned it. It is delivered
through HomeGauge, our inspection reporting platform. The report is not transferable, and third parties who
rely on it do so at their own risk. You may share the report with your real estate agent or attorney in
connection with your transaction.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of or relating to an inspection is limited
as set out in the signed inspection agreement for that inspection. Nothing in these terms limits liability that
cannot be limited under applicable law.
Website Content
Content on this website is provided for general information only and does not constitute professional advice
about any particular property. Blog articles are general guidance and are not a substitute for an inspection.
Text, images and other content on this site are owned by Bronze Star or used with permission, and may not be
reproduced without written consent.
Third-Party Links
This site links to third-party websites, including HomeGauge for report access. We are not responsible for
the content, availability or practices of those sites.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the inspection was performed — Texas for
inspections in Texas, Tennessee for inspections in Tennessee — without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
